Thanks for the great talk! This can indeed be a great tool to save time, especially in student projects. Remixing stuff is so much fun, and I hope copyright laws will allow people to do it more in the future.

I often wondered why there aren't more Robin Hood or Hercules games.

Hercules has been underutilized in gaming but I think we are getting some more game that derive from public domain content. The last but one was Alice: Madness returns but God of War and Assassin’s Creed heavily uses stories in the public domain

Can I have myself declared retroactively dead and re id with cloned offspring to either hold copyrights or release them open source for easier transfer to developers' hands. I want to continue working at high level and lived a VERY long and maximally difficult life.

Nintendo and the big companies are already doing big games with asset shop stock assets cranking up the shaders to the maximum, like... sonic frontiers
