Hey Nic if i buy a complete boxed item minus a user guide etc i would ebay search it, hopefully find it and and then add it to price if available thus increasing the price for a now boxed complete item. For serious buyers/collectors it could make all the difference

It varies, boot sales, yard sales, private deals, charity shops, auction etc

@NicHills thanks, I was watching your channel YEARS ago and I'm glad you're still on here. I just wondered if there was a main source or even a hit rate for each venue you visit. I tend to find charity shops are not even putting anything decent out anymore and there are no yard sales near me. I'll have to go back to the boot sales and try them in the summer and give an auction a go! 🙂

how about instead of sitting on your knees to take pictures, make a photograph off your floor, print it on a poster format and use the poster in your office to take pictures with items. it will save your knees in the long run. ❤

It's a job, but you are answerable to eBay, that makes you their employee.

By that logic you could say someone who sells things to customers is answerable to them meaning that you are an employee of a customer. eBay is simply a platform, if eBay shut down another platform could be utilised. Yes it's their playground and they set the rules but that doesn't make sellers employee

@@VisualVortexArtStudio No, I disagree. If I sell direct to the public, then I hold all the aces. I decide whether I'm going to make a refund, not eBay. eBay are just shifting the goalposts, and making you jump through too many hoops, just to sell something you picked up at a car boot sale. I was going to start selling on eBay again. I stopped years ago because I didn't like the way they were making me use Paypal. Now they just hold onto my funds, until there is no chance of a buyer asking for a refund. They are not holding on to any money of mine.
