Hello there, I'm interested in getting a good 3D printer, mainly to make my own 1/6 scale head sculpts, do you know any ideal printers that would be suitable for what I need? Thanx

I am SO psyched about this! Thank you for doing this! Plo Koon is VERY hard to find any good prints out there. Thanks again for going the extra mile as always!!

I want to ask this. Your mom should think about making some of the clothing for this guy to sell. I would be willing to purchase the clothing. You guys should think about it, you would sell them.

She’s always considering doing limited runs of prop/costume pieces. Not sure if this would be possible as one of them as we bought the fabric specifically for this build and pretty much used up all of it with no real way of getting more of at least 1 of the fabrics.

Gurl you're awesome. I'm totally inspired to get creative. The foot sander is genius. I've been trying to find a small orbital and had even watched a few people making them from electric toothbrush and other stuff but this will save soo much hassle. Utter Star ✨

I love to watch how these projects come together but always have shed loads of questions! How do you decide on what medium you will use? Where did you learn all about 3d printing etc. I’m also a big Star Wars fan but wouldn’t know where to start or which printer to buy and so on. I will live vicariously through your awesome work, many many thanks.😊

AMAZING work 😍 how many days over all do you think it took to build?
@MMsPropShop2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! The printing I had going casually over the course of a week, the sanding and priming work was almost 2 weeks of pretty consistent work only broken up by some days of bad weather where I couldn’t spray anything and the painting and finishing touches was about a week as well. Other than the printing I’d say it probably equated to around 14 full days of work.
@BrentAgeofGrogu2 жыл бұрын
@@MMsPropShop very nice work i hope you have a great place to display it in. its a center piece for sure. 😍

I believe it was a CraftSmart premium acrylic metallic paint. Probably dusted the highest points with Liquitex acrylic ink in bronze as well.

Does the resin over the seams help the bondo not crack? For whatever reason when I use bondo to cover seams I end up with very slight cracks where the seam is after a day or so. You did a great job on this!! I’m subscribed to a few channels that review Sideshow pieces, statues, etc and when I was scrolling through my Subscription video list I thought this was one of them!
@MMsPropShop2 жыл бұрын
Definitely. Or at the very least it will fill in those cracks and cure it so no more will form. And thank you 😊

this file could work as a real mask for a human face scale?
@MMsPropShop Жыл бұрын
Definitely! The tightest area is the actual neck hole. You’d want to make sure your head could fit through it or make a plan for some detachable pieces.
@kevinchile110 ай бұрын
Hiii Can it be used for cosplay? 😮
@MMsPropShop10 ай бұрын
Definitely! You’ll just need to possibly look at rescaling the model to better fit your head. The neck area can be quite tight so you might have to add magnets to the back piece so that it can detach to more easily get your head into it.

Ho acquistato il modello pensando potesse essere indossato, ma non è possibile, in quanto la base per inserire la testa è troppo stretta, mentre in teoria la circonferenza è corretta. Peccato 😔
