Making jewellery with coloured UV resin and wire? Does it work? 🤔

You can use UV resin tape and then you can fill all your colors and put them under the lamp. Dome that side then take it off the tape and dome the other side.

Really great ideas. I do the same only I use the silicone mat as a base to hold the wire in place. You first make your design, hammering the wire if you want, put in the colored resin and cure under your lamp, turning the silicone mat over to make sure that the resin is cured through the mat. I also use a 10mm x 15mm mirror to set that mat on and the reflection assists in the cure. I haven't tried the colored resin simply because I like to get a more intense color. I love the name idea.

They sell tape the resin releases from when cured. It might be a bit easier for larger pieces

Since the 70s ago there was fantasy resin to make dip it flowers Hard to get as all mostly uv now

It is possible to get UV dip resin, which is basically the same.

@@cindywochner323 no that’s resin you use as a dip as I said it’s uv. No I have the original dip resin which you can get it was just everywhere when I was younger

If you use a silicone mat or tape you will find it much easier because you won't have to "grip" the wire. Try it. Trust me, once you try it you're gonna love it!

if you were to do them on top of silicone, the resin usually doesn’t stick to that as much so it would be far easier
