Hey Vogman you probably don’t remember me but I’m the guy who asked if the Mars 4 ultra was a good printer for someone who doesn’t know anything about printing. I got the printer and I LOVE IT, I only had 2 failed prints (base plates) and the quality is awesome. It has made resin 3D printing fun. I picked up the hobby real quick and I’m getting great prints without fail.

From 2k to 14k in just 4 years is just amazing, its unbelievable how prices are dropping now compared to 4 years ago🙂

You're not wrong. It's a very exciting and fast paced industry. Print quality has always been good with resin printers, but now it's becoming microscopically good 😁

Is there an acid that will eat into the casting residue on the ring? Like hydrochloride that they use on brickwork? Or is it just easier to mechanically remove it? Assume the grinders and buffing wheels may remove more than you want?
@vogman7 ай бұрын
I believe ferric nitrate is sometimes used to etch a surface and create a matt finish. I don't know if that's what you're looking for...?
@75keg757 ай бұрын
@@vogman more to dissolve the plaster... rather an mechanically remove it from the casting.

Ahhh. No, sorry. Ultrasonics work great. Otherwise let it cool and break it apart - but I wouldn't recommend this method.

So I’m New to casting and was wondering what is your electric melting furnace temperature? And also what is the casting temp of your flask when pouring the metal. Thank you

What would be the recommended exposure for 30 microns (both exposures, please)? And how high do you recommend the height of the base plate, 0.50mm or 1.0mm? Thank you very much my friend!

I created the ring using ZBrush, but obviously that wasn't real footage at the beginning there. If only it was that easy 😁

Exelente trabajo, te aconsejo calentar la barra de grafito antes para evitar accidentes y usa lima media caña suiza para limar el interior del anillo y quede más parejo.
