Soon starting to build a guitar and was wondering, what might be the best way to cut the linings. Thanks for this video, this gave me some ideas on how I am going to realize it.

Seems simple enough, great idea and I may have to try it myself.

That is a pretty slick method. I'm think that I am going to try to bend solid linings this time, but if it doesn't work I may give this a try.

I will give solid linings a go at some point! Probably after I give laminated sides a try. Thanks for the comment!

Very good Chris, I built a jig for the bandsaw to make Krefeld linings it’s a very simple jig & I use one of those stops that fit into the miter gauge so it will not over cut the linings,👍🇺🇸🎸🎼🎹👨🏻🦯

A very useful jig Chris. I was wondering why you didn't first cut the kerfs then rip them to width? But the end result was great.

Because of how the grain was oriented in the piece of bracewood. It was flatsawn across its width so I had to cut slices off and rotate then to make them quartersawn. The kerfs had to be cut into the quartersawn surface.
