This is what is missing in most men's lives today. A sense of creativity and value in their work. These guys are true artist's and craftsmen. When a knife leaves that shop it is a work of art and a little piece of everyone that touches it during it's generation goes with it.

Boy oh Boy, a lot more work than I thought goes into making a knife, and a lot of different machinery a lot of people don't have.

Thanks alot Chris for this video of LT shop. It justifies the cost of a hand made knife better in my head. Great work.

Just watched it for the second time. Blown away again. I have a lot of respect for the craft. Great video, one of the best on PM101 in my view. LT has a great crew. To quote Eddie Murphy: I want the knife, pleeeease. The right people will get that I guess.

Great video, a lot of talent displayed there! I've never had the privilege of meting Mr. wright even though I only live maybe 20-30 minutes away. We do have R.W. Wilson in common though as I've known him for a number of years, haven't been touch for a while though. Mr. R. W. Wilson is one of the all time great knife makers and teachers!

Hey PM101 love you channel. After I received my second sch37, my first one broke in half out of the box. I still had problems with the overall shape of the knife. I got an idea to make my own knifes, I already made a few knife out of spring steel and I now like to make my own knifes instead of buying them. Keep up the good work.

I've always been a bit discouraged at the price of a quality knife. After that video I now understand why they cost as much as they do. About 2/3 of the way through the video I realized I was watching the hands of a master at work. That was a beautiful knife. Maybe one day.......if I'm lucky.

Bought my first LKTW knife for myself for Christmas, a Buschmaster HC and love the design and how tight it is but the pinch grips are nonexistent and the edge was crap, wouldn't even cut paper. Disappointed to say the least, especially after seeing this and that no less than 3 people were responsible for letting it pass through in a totally unacceptable finish but that didn't stop me from ordering a new GNS in 3V with black Micarta scales and I hope it turns out better. This one better be right or I am done with them.

Not the same type of knife but you should check out Cut Brooklyn. Handmade cutlery knife outfit in the heart of Brooklyn NY. The finished products are high dollar kitchen knives but the craft is at the heart of it. Worth a look, great website they have over there. Great video again guys. These guys could do this blindfolded. Hell of a shop.

G'day Chris, I think you've discovered a new film genre. Knife making videos are cool; behind the scenes knife porn! Great to see craftsmen at work; it's hard, precise and dirty but strangely relaxing to watch experts do their thing. Joseph Becker's knife videos are great too. Thanks to you, Will, L.T. and his staff.

You should have called this the "crap" way of making knives. I know because I speak from experience. I would NEVER order another piece of garbage from L.T Wright knives. I have a GNS Scandi and I call it crap shack because of his logo. He screwed me so much that I don't care about the knife. I throw it into trees and logs. I have had a few people ask me about it when I was in Algonquin Park Ontario Canada and all I could tell them was "its a flea market special"
