Making Lackendara Jim, Hermit of the Comeragh Mountains

A short bilingual documentary 'File, Fís 's Fuaim' about the making of a multimedia performance based on a man named Lackendara Jim. Having fought on every front of the First World War, Jim came home to Co. Waterford in Ireland. Shell shocked from his experiences, he retreated up the Comeragh Mountains to live for 40 years.
Script written by Joe Meagher for Rigout Productions, directed by Shauna Farrell and performed by Paul Dillon. Musicians are Éadaoin Breathnach, Kevin Power, Aaron Mulhall, Nick Bankes, Lorcan Reidy, Robert Doherty and Thomas Whelan.
