Making medium size bucktail lures

This video is about this video is about making a medium sized bucktail lure and using a wire bending jig I built to make lure eyes and do barrel wraps. We used these lures this fall and they worked really well for Norther Pike and a few bonus Smallmouth Bass.

Bucktails in the colors of your preference
Stainless steel wire in this case 0.040 inch
Beads
Lure body in this case a worm sinker (I’m cheap and they work)
#4 stirrup clevis
#5 French blade, use whatever blade you like
#6 hooks, use the hooks you like best
Thread
Glue
Scissors
Side cutters
Vice grips
