I love FL studio I've been using it since I want to say a 2007. I still have 11 😂. I find it so fascinating how you can write music three different ways with FL at least if you have legacy settings and can do blocks. It's pretty cool how a buddy of mine Gerald the Genius got started on FL. Instead of using different pages he makes or made all of his songs on one page and then pasted that into the playlist. It was mind-blowing to watch him write the entire song with all of the instruments on one pattern page. I asked him at first why he didn't use all the pages there were like 99..he said it just made sense to his brain that way 🤣🤷

One of the best tutorials I've seen bro. Could you please do a short version video of the basics behind the time signatures and what they achieve when using them? You explain throughout the video but a summarised version that covers all grounds in that area would be amazing.

That's a good idea. My schedule is really packed right now, but I'll try to record a tutorial within the next few weeks

Is there a way to put a drum vst on a midi drum track made in gp5 and imported to FL studio? I've been trying to do it with drums ,synths, bass etc and can't find a way to do it.

Do you have a video on how to set up the piano roll? I'm confused on how you know what part of the drum kick is on the piano roll. Like how did you decide to order them?
@RaneMusic4 ай бұрын
@@Codysurfsup sadly FL-Studio does not have the function (yet) to rename the piano roll or assign specific sounds to each key. Except for FPC and a few other FL Stock plugins there's also no way to see which key is what element of (for example) the drums. I just played around with the Piano roll until I found out where the kick, snare, toms etc are.

is this the rasiest daw to program drums? Or theyre pretty much all the same?
@RaneMusic2 ай бұрын
@@makariussulit FL-Studio in my opinion has the best Piano Roll of pretty much all DAWs. It's pretty easy to use and the tools make working in it really quick and easy. So yeah, for programming drums (or any VST Instruments) FL Studio is probably the easiest DAW to use

How do you add each drum to the mixer?

What is the name of your drum samples?
@RaneMusic7 ай бұрын
The Plugin is EZDrummer 2 with Metal Machine pack. Not sure about the samples I showed in the beginning. I downloaded them years ago, I'm not even sure if they're still available

i hate how only FPC supports having the name of each drum in the piano roll... would be so much better if we didn't have to memorize every single drumkit vst's preferences of mapping notes
