It's Loch Assynt! Loch Inver is 11 miles up the road. I know this for I lived in Loch Inver for three years. My Great Great....Grandfather was the last McLeod laird. He was kicked-out of Ardveck Castle in 1678. Just up from Ardveck Castle is a Kirk at Inchnadamph. A lot of my ancestors are buried there.

Love this video, the scenery is amazing. Guess we're going to have to try harder to get up there next year. Making mistakes, I've got a degree in that - funny how it nearly always works out better in the end though! We're planning to take the caravan away in January, not sure where though, guess it'll depend on the weather and ground conditions. May go inland for a change, although we do like coastline in the winter, it's a ruggedness most people never see. Time to find a CL or CS. Take care guys and stay safe.
