I know I'm a little late to the party on this one, but Mrs.Stacey and I just watched over dinner and we both agree that this is one of the best eveRide videos to come out in a while. Please note that I'm not dissing the polished style, but as I've said many times, this is the kind of content that we fell in love with to begin with, so it's extra special when we get some of it now. Hope you do many more like this man.

TYLER!!! I got Lasik surgery, and I can't tell you how much it has improved my riding experience! Just putting on a helmet is 10x easier than with classes/contacts. I can't believe the difference. I hope that one day I get to vacation/ride with you as you may be my original inspiration to ride. (not much off-road exp.) THANK YOU! for your vids -Reeves-

I love Kane Creek. We usually ride up and then over to the park at Hole in the Rock for lunch and top off the water bladders then hit something else to wrap up our day. I pack extra gloves so when we get to that nasty rock hill climb I can tackle it with some fresh dry gloves. Thanks for sharing. Moab Rocks.

It was nice to watch the whole ride, well in and out while I was working. But it is nice to see the whole ride, it gives us a better perspective on what you're riding through, not just the final edits. That being said, after watching this and once you put up your final edit, I think we can all be appreciative of what it takes to get that small 5 minutes of well manicured and great production out of your videos. Seeing what you have done to put out that content makes me much more appreciative of what you do, it's not easy taking hours of footage and making that final cut, but you always do amazing work. Keep up the good work!

This is very, very entertaining to watch and also a great learning experience, as I'm just starting to get my proverbial feet wet driving off-road. I'm very unfortunate not to have any terrain remotely like you have over there :-( because dirt and rocks are my favorite terrain. Thanks for putting this up :).

I ran Kane Creek in a 98 Grand Cherokee in 2003. Solo until we came upon an Cherokee near the end right before climbing up out of the canyon. Its a LONG trail in a Jeep. And to answer the question you almost asked, the appeal to Jeeps on technical trails... is just that. Technical. You buy/build a Jeep the same as you would a bike and mod it to run the terrain you prefer or live in. Then the challenge is the terrain. Not going through fast. Slow with as little wheel slip as possible. In most cases. Mud is another story.

nice one tyler, very cool to have the blow by blow commentary with the raw footage... and you get to include footage with the dirty lens lol. i HATE having to scrap footage from dirty lenses, although sometimes more contrast and a bit of sharpening can cover it... sigh.

Great stuff! The narration gives great insight to the ride. I switched to a YZ450 from a WR450, and I would stall the YZ like your 450x. I added a heavier GYTR flywheel weight and that helped immensely!

Ah Tyler that was epic!!!! It's definitely nice to see the full length. You guys must have slept for a week after that!! Watching the edit video is just as great So I'd say do both. But with the full length it shows so much more of the extremely difficult sections and near misses you had to get through. Some of the sections had me twitching in my seat just watching! Anyway...... I'm so jealous but great to see you guys had an awesome time. Keep the vids up!!

To stop the 450x from stalling there is a autodecomp spring on the cam that you can bend to loosen the pressure on the weight so it doesnt stall at low rpms. Also you could get a flywheel weight but the cam is free so i would do it first

Great video. You're right- the video doesn't do that trail/area justice. Having ridden it, it's harder than it looks in that video. Did you know that you could have gone just a few minutes further on the trail and popped out right onto Hwy. 191? Not that the ride back isn't fun (and actually seems different), but it would save you a lot of time. It's a great option if it's late in the day and you are chasing the sun. You don't want to get stuck in that canyon at night (mountain lions seem to be everywhere in MOAB- saw lots of tracks- especially in Long Canyon and Pritchett Canyon).

Year late comment, lol Kane creek, such a nice pick for a big group!! Loved the drone footage(glad you found it) Buddy has a FI yz450(not the 450x), if he sets the rpm with a controller morning noon and night, his nightmare stalling bike is cured. Maybe just having a tach could help too. Love the long format, and all the different cameras from the other fellas too(long edit times, lol). BIG thanks for sharing
