Can a 160 lb guy on a KLR handle slickrock like a boss? Well, if it's Jesse from GeoMoto on Jeff Emig's KLR650 from last year, then YUP! Join us for the first day of adventure through Moab, Utah. We rode SlickRock trail, then headed up Potash Road to the Shaffer Switchbacks on the White Rim Trail. It was an amazing way to start out a week full of incredible riding!

I rode the Slick Rock trail many years ago and I was harassed by cyclists. I get it. They want it just for bicycles. I was riding a Suzuki DR 650. I personally found the experience daunting. On a smaller dirt bike it would have been really fun. The trail was beautiful. I will never forget it. Thanks for doing this. I really enjoyed watching someone ride it well.

We did Fins-N- Things, Shafer trail, onion creek, Monument Valley and Valley of the Gods. It inspired me to make my first KZbin videos because everyone should see this place. +kaianine Oh man it really is one of those trails that's just a bucket-list thing. It's not too long, but it's terrain like nowhere else!

Holy crap!!! You aren't joking about that pucker factor!!!!!!! Some of those sections look insane to this newbie offroader but still a ton of fun. :D I've seen videos of jeeps on that trail after a rain and it's like pucker factor times infinity...

+ladyeclectic Ahhhh yeah I think that's why it got the name "slick rock"... those trails get a little wet and I can imagine they'd be terrifying!

You taught me something today because I always thought it was called slick rock because it was slippery. Stay safe
@eveRide

+Tankerman Yeah a lot of people think that, but it's VERY grippy... not something you want to "slide" down!

Talk about a home run. You nailed that video. Love the Phantom footage. Once you upgrade to the p3 you will be able to do the follow me, and poi features.

+Hobbz-Garage This one is actually an Iris+, but the Phantom is on its way! The Iris has some good follow modes etc, but when it was released it was fairly new tech, so I've never reliably flown it like that. I'm hoping the P3 makes up for the tech!

I can't wait to see some vids with it. The mountains here make it hard to use the follow me.

the start of this vid is just super full of silver linings!! :-) That landscape is just sooo pretty!! I guess the heat in the rocks will also add to the grip you felt riding over it, wonder if it is just as grippy when its a bit colder?

+Andy Pandy Motovlogs I've ridden it in winter and summer, and it grips quite well in all seasons!
