I always enjoy these factory tours, I don't think any other model company does them. I always can't believe the amount of effort and required that into building just one little model, especially the british ones. Can't wait to see what the new locomotive is this year.

All power to you, Jason... your enthusiasm is infectious. Glad you are getting a big handle on the market - and making quite the splash. Hey - don't mock the Brits, they seem to be amongst the most avid railway buffs, judging by their mags (and honestly, most of their layouts are to the height of detail and exactitude. They should love your products)

These factory videos are so unique, can't say I've ever seen any manufacturer show so much behind the scenes. It's great that there's a Canadian model railroad company, since the American and European brands tend to only make designs from their own countries. There's a wealth of Canadian made steam locomotives that never get made into models for that reason. It'd be great to see an HO model of Toronto, the first locomotive ever made in Canada in 1853. In general 4-4-0 locos seem to be very rare in the HO world (apart from the Bachmann, which isn't a very accurate model IMO). Another nice Canadian 4-4-0 loco is Canadian Pacific #29. Anyway, keep it up! I hope to get one of your steam locomotives sometime in the future!
@rapidotrains5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your kind words, Robert! We wonder if there is enough demand for a 4-4-0... Not many people model the 1860s!

@@rapidotrains Thanks for replying! I would have thought a "country western" layout was quite popular. Those are certainly some of mine and my dad's favorite trains, though I'm not involved enough in the model community to know how popular they really are.

Jason, You are hilarious, but you forgot the greatest team in hockey is the Pittsburgh Penguins :-) Speaking of Pittsburgh and N scale, (how'd you like that segue?) how about a couple of nice P&LE U28B's in the P&LE New Image paint scheme? Thank you for another great factory tour, love them and I enjoy seeing how the different products are made. Talking about products, I've always heard the car type pronounced as "GON-DOLE-AHA" not "GON-DA-LA" to differentiate it from the flat bottom boat. Cheers, Rich S.

Nice to see there are some good factories over there, everyone has a job, that's the difference. As much as I'd like to see stuff brought back, the ones in this place would be out of work. What a conundrum.

Whats wrong here is you do not need glue for the detail parts it should be press fit like Marklin and KATO which do not use glue in their models. How will you replace a broken detail part when its glued into the bodyshell?

How do you add 0.3mm wire grab irons without glue? If you can figure that one out you can patent it and make a fortune!
