Thanks for sharing, cool stuff as always. It seems like some of the best sheet music I've sold has been the antique patriotic stuff. I have done ok on some Nat Geos that I got in a large lot with an equally large lot of Life Magazines from the mid 60s on. But they were in great shape with all the matching inserts which helps them sell or I would have passed. The Life magazines I would buy again, those seem to do better for me overall.

Thanks for watching! We buy all of our items in massive bulk 100 or more at a time. The $1 price is the average item cost. 99% of our items are only bought in bulk including paper, and every item we show in this video. Super easy, and super quick all the way around.

Just started selling, on Ebay, Sept. 2019. I am SO glad I came across your youtube channel! I really appreciate you going through what sold, how much you paid, how long you had it up, BOLO (had to google that hahaha!). In the UP and not dreading the winter as much--hoping this new venture will continue to be fun and profitable. :) Thanks again.

Question: How do you ship newspapers? I have seen people roll them and ship them in tubes, but I that really makes me uncomfortable. I would like to explore other options and your input would be appreciated. Cheers!
@TheAuctionProfessor5 жыл бұрын
We ship them between cardboard similar to how we ship sheet music. We just leave a pocket thick enough to accommodate the newspaper. Never had an issue shipping them this way. We stay away from rolling them as they are fragile for the most part, and flat is the safest.
@digicthus5 жыл бұрын
@@TheAuctionProfessor Very good, thank you. I kind of figured that'd be the best way, but the thickness of the newspaper kind of threw me a bit. I have shipped lobby cards and sheet music sandwiched between cardboard, but those are thin. Will play with it. Thanks again. Cheers!
@TheAuctionProfessor5 жыл бұрын
Check out the video it will be very helpful. For newspapers we use 2 sides of a 12" cubed box that we cut up. That's show in the video as well. We just make a quarter inch pocket, and then wrap two sides around the paper. Tape it up well, and then Don't Not Bend goes on both sides.
@digicthus5 жыл бұрын
@@TheAuctionProfessor I got a bunch of stickers made up when I got a huge lot of lobby cards that read "DO NOT BEND" and upside down under that was "DO NOT FOLD" It only cost me around $20 for 1000 stickers but was well worth it. I will definitely check out those videos. Thanks again. Cheers!

Great stuff! Thank you for posting! Would like to know how do you ship records, fragiles, and even postcards. A regular envelop might be bended; or you use a cardboard for protection?
@digicthus5 жыл бұрын
There are 12×12 boxes made specifically for records/LPs and they are adjustable for 1-3 standard albums. They run about 40 cents a box if you buy 50 or more. That's what I use anyway. Sandwiching them between cardboard can lead to breakage, especially the clay 78s. Cheers!
@TheAuctionProfessor5 жыл бұрын
We don't buy any pre-made boxes for records. ours cost is a 1/4 of those the way we do. We also only ship 78's(shellac) in a boxes with double cardboard, and cushion. I have several videos on how we ship them up now as well. Never had a single broken disc, in more than 20 years doing it our way. Way safer than the pre-made stuff.
