Congrats on your baby! I love the low-key way you shared that too :) I've just started on Fiverr and have found your channel invaluable to setting up and getting my first gig. Thank you so much for helping all of us! I just delivered my first (article writing) gig after a misunderstanding with the client. They didn't know their target audience (just wanted to appeal to everyone capable of buying bracelets) and when I offered to help them finetune that (it's a gig extra), they freaked out and asked to cancel. I asked why. The day after they replied and we were able to clear up the misunderstanding - even though they are a VID top buyer - they thought the gig extra was mandatory. They asked that I send the article as it was ready. So I sent the article as a Word Document and (for the gig portfolio) as a PDF. My concern now is they've gone silent, and my gut says they'll likely cancel and use the article anyway as they can just grab it from the MS document. It's been radio silence since I sent it. I will message them today politely to nudge them by asking if they're happy with it. Is there a specific format we should send our articles to clients when we're not sure they'll honour the time and effort we put in? What format would you recommend delivering written gigs generally? Thanks! ☺️ I always just send it to them as a word document and have never had any issues with it. If they were committed to stealing your work they could literally type it by hand even if you sent it as a screenshot png, so I would focus more on improving your proactive client communication skills instead of trying to put up walls to prevent scams. Wow!! What a trip Carrie! 🤩🤩 As a Brit, I’ve been a few times to the east coast and absolutely LOVED it! Fascinating history and attractions. Also, congrats on your earnings that’s incredible in just that time period. Can’t wait to go travelling again here in Europe haha.

Thanks! 🤩 it was truly incredible - and these were just 3 highlights per day… we did SO much and loved every second of it. Even better to work along the way! We had a mega trip to France and Germany planned last summer to attend a friend’s wedding, but obviously that all got cancelled. We’ve been itching for a big trip, for sure. And we (luckily and unintentionally) picked a really good time to go between infection waves, thank god!

Thanks! ❤️ Fiverr’s choice is kind of a rolling badge, not an official level or tier - it comes and goes, and I think it’s almost entirely automated. You’ll only see a notification about it if someone that specific gig when it happened to have the little Fiverr’s Choice icon. Honestly idk what their point is with it except adding more (mostly meaningless) icons all over search results. 🤷🏼‍♀️ But congrats nonetheless!

Nope. We’ll see how it goes. My husband doesn’t use his sick or vacation time, and then we’ll have summer since he’s a teacher, so he’ll likely be home with me during the first 8 months. Then we’ll decide from there. He would love to be a stay at home dad if we can swing it.

Hello Carrie, hope you are doing well. Fiverr has introduced a feature called "Promotion gig". I have a question regarding that. My gig was ranked in my niche from a long time but after using that feature my gig ranking only relies on the "Promotion feature", have you ever use and experience this feature? please share your experience. I haven’t used it. I don’t like that they’re integrating paid aids and the way it’s set up, so I did one or two test promotions with a credit they gave me in beta mode, but that’s it. So unfortunately I can’t comment. Good luck!
