I'm not a content creator. But i get paid to work abroad. One place i visit on a regular basis is Seychelles for 10 years. But will probably this year expand and see more countries. Getting the right people at the right time is the key. Much the same as you describe.

Exactly what I needed right now! Already started to reach out to tourism boards in Europe on Christmas time. Hope to get some insights in your approach, especially if you don´t have a big portfolio of travel related content. Cause I have a portfoilio, but it´s a totally different niche.

That’s is main motivation for filmmaker/ content creators. Life is short. A 9-5 job in the States only offer you two week vacation. That’s not a lot because I want travel +20 countries and come back some of the countries.

I got into videography 2 years ago by watching travel films and dreaming of getting paid to travel somewhere and film. This month I just found out I am being sent to Italy and the UK (I live in the states) to work for a study abroad company. Dream come true started by youtube videos like this years ago!

I fell in love with photography after graduating back in 2017, I have been trying to find my niche for that long as I just love travel and night photos but don't travel enough to make a consistent feed out of it so I started to do street photography as well here in London, UK. Last year was a white year for me, I was lacking inspiration, couldn't grow anymore on instagram (actually opposite effect) and I just stopped posting even though I'd still go out, take pictures, edit them, leave them on the laptop and never show anybody. I started this year 2022 motivated and currently working on making something out of what makes me happy (photography and experiences), this video came right on time and is giving me this extra boost I needed. thanks a lot for the positivity. It's hard to make this make sense to people around us, telling people you want to face the unknown and risk not getting any money when you have a decent paying office job is hard.

I invest across the top markets but not by myself though. i follow the guidelines of Regina Louise Collaro . you might have heard of her.. I can correctly say she's worth her salt as an investment adviser as her diversification skills are top notch, I say this because i see that in her results as my portfolio grows by averages of 5 to 1O% on a monthly basis, unlike i can say for my other inve stm ents which has just been trudging along. my portfolio just mirrors what she place and not just on some particular industries of my choosing. I was able to retire early and gain financial freedom through her help.

For me it happened when I finally stuck to something. There is a great book called "The Gap" that focuses on that idea. In the past I would try wedding videography or music videos for a year and then stopped because it wasn't working as expected. With travel, however, I focused all the energy (and money lol) on that one thing for years: travel videos. After 3 years we are finally lucky enough to get approached by companies paying for our trips and being able to live off it full-time. Now the major obstacle is the lack of time to do multiple experiences at once... A good problem to have.
