I’m from Burkina Faso and we also call it Masa in Mooré (language of the Mossé people). We do the millet and rice version. I’ll try the corn version next time I make masa.Thank you so much Tatiana.I truly appreciate all your videos.

Maasa is so delicious. I am intrigued and drawn to the deft skill and dexterity they have in distributing the oil, turning the cakes and decanting them so quickly with the ladel and before they are overcooked. That is exceptional skill. In fact watching someone cook maasa is so entertaining itself and at the end is a delicious treat.

OMG . we used to call it as "Kuli paniyaram" in Tamilnadu. we use raw rice and some urad dhal to make this mixture and add Jaggery. I had studied that African and Tamilans are having some similarities.

Taty! Just a wonderful video💥💥💥! Wonderful, because you profile the Zongo community in Sunyani so so well🎥. Super enterprising people, and incredibly hardworking💪🏾. Glad to see that hardwork and entrepreneurial spirit rewarded by your videos🎥. Now it was great to see the man also tending to the MASA and he was excellent at it. And the key part is how he took pride in what he was doing and said it is important to give a helping hand and everyone should participate. I really liked seeing that. And let him know his English is perfect because we understood everything he said. I am a proponent of languages so going back and forth on Twi and English is excellent📚. And MASA is something that takes me way back to childhood. And they are so so skilled at making it. Awesome to see. Again the one thing that makes your videos so compelling, is letting those you profile tell their stories. And the stories are amazing and inspiring. We love what you do and keep the content coming!
