Fascinating...especially as a viewer who has harvested and worked natural clay. Thanks for a great video!

Great video, I look forward to the rest of them. Presumably if they were making pots there would have been a kiln on the shore nearby although the likelihood of finding evidence of it would be very slim. It'll be there I guess, baked earth is changed forever, my own earth kilns frequently vitrify their interiors since they have a high sand content (I live in Norfolk and they are made of dirt). Unlikely to find it without meticulous digging though.

Fascinating, thank you. PS the sound level is a little low.

People need the captions. Not everyone can hear.

Great vid, but please get the audio right. It's way to low and while you are there get rid of those completly silly pseudo captions

Those captions are very useful for those of us with less-than-perfect hearing, and a lot better than auto-generated captions

Is there somewhere I can watch your videos without the writing appearing? I cant imagine I am the only one who thinks it is distracting and spoils what could otherwise be a really interesting video. After all, if we want subtitles we can just press the subtitles button.

The problem with autogenerated subtitles is they do really badly with placenames and with technical language - they tend to make complete nonsensence of phrases like post-Deverel-Rimbury Plainware pottery.
