Leavensworth, the only american town I have been "In". There is this railway car turned Café, that originated in sweden, that some american dude bought, and put in leavensworth in the 70s, as they wanted a really european style town, as you said "german town". Then a member of the railway he bought it from went through leavensworth during a military visit, and negoiated to eventually buy it back. Now it sits at the end station of the former railway it rolled on before it got turned into a café and got sold. It get's rolled out whenever that town has some event (every other week basically). So that is the only part of america I have been in, a railway car trampled by many americans through the years. I hope I can get to visit some day, and maybe even spot you on the street
