💖 As always, I enjoyed this so much! Me, being a formal seamstress...I was utterly impressed in your artistic skill. (something I never had, as I just followed a pattern) However, I was very skillful with 🪡sewing machine. If you ever have an sewing machine issue like in this series, quickest FIX is, replacing the sewing machine 🪡 needle. Cheap and easy. Needle 🪡 can cause a bobbin to snag the threads, with the tiny scratch/flaw on the 🪡 needle from tulle/sequin fabric. Also for sewing over the pins...etc. I learnt this the hard way, after taking my machine in for service all the time...LOL 😂💝 Love you! Brigitte in Tulsa Oklahoma USA💗💓💞

Adding the extra bit was perfect!! The dress was heavy pink purple before and the extra added the additional teal blue the real look has. LOVE IT!!!!!!

I think this turned out great. I think if you wanted to create another look that isn't emphatically Crystal Barbie, you could create another belt in the iridescent vinyl, perhaps in a different shape, like a waist cincher. You could also turn the boa into a neckline embellishment by temporarily attaching it to the dress around the neckline and straps. You could even make separate sleeves/gloves, like the ones that come with Perfume Pretty Whitney. I think you could create several looks with these pieces.

I have a Singer machine, and mine used to snag all the time, a little bit of oil on the bobbin will help, they say as often as every 3 bobbins that should help get it running smoothly again and stop the skipped stitches or snagging, the manual should tell you where to put the oil for that particular machine, hopefully, this saves some heartaches.
