i love the series and i belive you need solo in the spotlight as well , and of course the ultimate of all barbie doll gowns THE ROSE barbie gown the real one with the deep red , you would love wonderful in it , not the lily one though that one is just a pain . BUT I BELIEVE you should also have solo in the spotlight and THE ROSE the Rose goes so well with your complexion and its the most dramatic of all the gowns in the entire collection . I KNOW I own it and about 200 plus barbies lol i lost count after 200

I love the way this dress turned out, the little tulle ruffle at the top of the mermaid tail was just what it needed. I wonder if you could make the fabric flare out at the bottom more if you wired the hem? Or maybe boned it somehow? I don't know if there is anything lightweight enough that would give it just a little more body so that it doesn't just lay flat against the tulle petticoat. I've never worked with that kind of fabric before, so it's possible that I'm giving you a really terrible idea. And of course you realize you have to make Loving You Barbie's look after you're done with Crystal Barbie, right? :D

oh you mean the irridescent tissue lame , thats what that paperlike fabric is , irridescent tissue lame , i have worked with that and i love it you can find it at Jo-anns fabrics online it comes in a variety of colors and you 're looking for the crystal white irridescent tissue lame . oh and you can modge podge it as well to stiffen it or use fabric stiffner just let it dry over night and don't put stiffner where you need to sew only on the part you want to really stand up and stick out and be stiff , once it hardens its like a rock it won't deflate in storage . I told you i make barbie doll dresses its fun
