Some helpful information on how sway bars work; the majority of the stiffness in a sway bar comes from the outside diameter of the bar as it twists. The further out from the center line you go, the more the metal has to stretch, which results in stiffness. The material closest to the center line of the bar hardly stretches at all, and thus doesn't provide much additional stiffness. Point being, a hollow bar is usually better because it's lighter, and reduces unsprung mass. Manufacturers typically only make solid bars because they're cheaper to produce. If you want added stiffness, go bigger on the diameter.

The cowl and wipers were trashed on my Evo 8 when I got it. A little work and that trim paint makes the car look 10 years newer

The baffle has a “crank scraper” which also removes mass off the rotating assembly for smoother revs

My uncals evo 8 had that issue was around 400bhp and burst 3 engines due to oil starvation. He went 2.3 nitto stroker kit and tomei baffle sump kit never the issue again and even after he sold it to a mate of his still running sweet.

RE71R will make for a good time attack tire. Just be sure to cool them down after a few laps as they can over heat easily, and get greasy.

If while cornering it lays down onto the front bump stops too hard, it will always understeer no matter whar arb you put on the rear. If that is the case, with stiffer rear arb, it will just oversteer more on power at corner exit. Ether rise the front end or shorten the front bump stops.

An oil accumulator would be another very good mod for the evo, it will supply supplementary oil volume if the oil pressure drops.

For plastic TRIMS you can use a heat gun, and it will heat it up obviously but it will bring the Oils back to the surface and make it black again.

Have you thought about the stabilizer bar being to stiff? Because you are understeering maybe the front would benefit from a softer bar that gets the front wheels more contact to the ground because the inner wheel won‘t come off the ground!

Here’s an idea. Adam already has MULTIPLE drift cars, a burnout car, a drag car, a supercar, a track car, a SxS, a tow rig, and a muscle car and maybe more, but there is one thing right up his alley he doesn’t already have. A prerunner. Just think, taking a Toyota Tacoma and putting a 2jz and long travel on it (has been done). And taking it off jumps and to the dunes. Would be sick to have a wicked fast 2j truck! Like this if you agree and would like to see hm build something like this!

Adam there is a forum post that shows moroso oil pans have worse oil cooling than oem..... I myself just purchased a 4g63 racefab pan that is intended for road course. Moroso pan is only good for drag racing.
