I would only have two comments to make. Be sure to keep the camera in focus and be careful to have the project in view of the camera all the time. Second you should take care to show how all connetions are made. Other wise, good job.

I know this is the first go. I see that you used a 31 mix, but on try 2, you used 43 mix. I also noticed on your multi tap, you used this CMC instead of the coax one. I'm kind of curious about which cores and construction to use to somewhat replicate your build, with the benefit of your experience! Thanks and 73. Pat VE9ES

The type 31 is preferred for 1:1 Balun/Common Mode Choke as it has the broadest range on HF however as I was given a smaller 140/43 that I used on the 2nd version. It is recommended to use type 43 for Bal-Uns/Un-Uns other than 1:1 as type 31 can only be used for 1:1 but in the 140 size a type 43 was the one with the broadest range I had available. Also as for the multi tap method the coax method can only be used for the 1:1 Bal-Uns so I used the same method for the choke that went with it. Just for convenience really.

Can you make a 9:1 with the same core??

Every time I see spec sheets on this toroid core do state 1:1 only. There are some cores that claim to have a wider range that can be used for other types of bal-un/un-un but unfortunately I do not know what they are yet.

@@A.R.O.T.A. put a dummy load on it and sweet it with a VNA and you can make sure it won't mess with the SWR.
