Now you see my issue when I was doing my eyes like that xD to get them to sit nicely in the head, I had to angle them and it made the suits look cross eyed a lot of the time, with the round blanks with the eye in the centre, even if it was angled, I could use the frames to correct that~ There are ways to do it similar to yours tho that makers have used since before my time, and they still work great today! Ultimately I love to encourage resilience and finding what works for you as a creative best! So good work on that!!! 👏👏

3:45 the foam over it actually has a practical purpose. A bit of illusion. If done correctly it can simulate more depth making the eyes look a little more like they're following you. There are several ways to do it and the one in your video was not the most optimal way i've seen it done but it does have a purpose.

Here’s a tip: If your glue is taking AGES to dry, it means it’s too hot. If you buy a temperature control glue gun (one that has a temp dial on it) you can lower it and it’s tons easier to use!

When I made my first fursuit, I didn’t have a head armature either. In that case, I tried putting a towel over my neck and duct taped that. Worked pretty well, and it ended up a good idea!

if you use a big round eye blank and put that foam piece in the shape you want over it the followme effect of the eyes is much better than with eyes already shaped. that's why you do it that way :D

(and second attempt lol) My first 2 attempts were pretty asymmetrical and had alot of issues, and foam tearing, miscalculated where i had to sew, etc. For your first attempt this is extremely well done!! this has sparked my inspiration and motivation to try and making a fursuit again :))

I bought 2 sheets of 150cm x 50cm fur plus a little bit of black for the nose and around the eyes and a bit of pink for the ears. I would recommend buying a little more though, just in case you messed it up and have to do some parts over again.
