Making my First Mobile Game in ONE Day

I decided to challenge myself and make my first mobile game within 1 day. I have a significant amount of game development experience, but I've yet to work on mobile games, which is a rapidly growing gaming platform.
Using Unity Engine, I decided to make a game similar to Flappy Bird, Stack, and many more. The game is meant to be a casual game you can play during your commute, or even in the bathroom.
I hope to create videos that might inspire others to pursue game development, and show others my workflow when it comes to creating games.

Amazing game, at first it was at dark souls difficulty level, but after 10 minutes it became easy peasy (im a big brain gamer) and i have gotten 103 points. Keep up the good work mate!

This is the right dev mentallity. Don't waste time trying to create huge games you'll never finish. Making small increments boosts our confidence to try harder challenges, while we learn, gain experience, and in the meantime build a reputation.

If you want you could really make a update for this game. Maybe add skins for both player and tiles, add some more gamejuice by making the character have small animations and particle effects and add really nice and simple sounds. This game could get quite popular

The trick to naming small mobile games is to just make up a word or combine words. For example, a good name would have been Tooper, combining Tile and Hopper and adding a little spin with the extra "o".

You GOTTA make it have background music which directly affects the speed the tiles disappear and could you port it to Apple?

I think it would be better to use cosinus between 0 and Pi/2 on the fading so you get that sharp fadeaway when they disappear instead of a linear fade cutting away before they are fully gone... then I'm here criticising, while having never made a complete game...

Hey! So first of all, really nice game! I will def play this. But second of all, how did you build the game with the new required api level 31? It isn't included in unity...

developer.android.com/studio/command-line/sdkmanager You'll need to find the SDK your Unity version is using (Edit->Preferences->Android Section), then once you're in the SDK folder, go to the cmdline-tools folder, go into the next folder, then go into the bin folder, then you should see sdkmanager.bat You'll want to copy that location into command prompt(Run as adminstator), then run this: sdkmanager "platform-tools" "platforms;android-31"

You may be able to get something similar by increasing the emissive value on the material, not certain if you'll be able to get it as strong as this
