I had one of those filters, but removed cause it was causing too much pressure. I was starting to have oil seep out of the oil cap. Just a keep a look out on that. That hose actually relieves pressure and brings in cooler outside air into the crank. But it definitely does look nice. I sometimes miss it haha.

You wont have any issues deleting the AAV. Our Si's still have an IACV that will take care of high idle. You may want to keep the valve cover vent attached to the the intake though. The PCV system pulls pressure from the crankcase better when attached to a vacuum (like the intake) rather than open air. It does look fancy though lol.

You can take the whole IAV out and it will still have a high idle when it's cold. If you do decide to put the kit in, make sure to get some teflon tape and wrap it around everything

You need to have the pcv connected to your intake you wont have as much low end torque now. I did a similar mod to my v6 accord but i took it back off for that reason. It draws a vacuum on the crankcase and relieves pressure.

So you added a breather. The blowby is now venting into your engine bay instead of into your intake. Doesn't that make everything greasy? Also, why didn't you just install a catch can which separates the oil vapor before it goes back into your intake?

Erm you are sticking a Crappy Valve cover filter/restriction In place of the Designed PCV system. Where intake vacuum evacuates the crankcase blowby.. Genius level work there... Expected I suppose.. from someone who has their v own scrap yard.

I tried the breather catch can on my si and I felt like at first it was good and the power was better. But then I noticed my gas sucked afterwards. I had it for about a week...maybe the results will be different with you. I dont know lol let us know in another video please. 8)

Get eBay cold air intake they’re 40 bucks shipped lol they are exactly the same as the Injen cold air intake. I just put mine in today and I came from a fujita short ram. I loved the sound of short ram but the cold air is way deeper sound and seems to pull harder. Too bad I don’t have a flash pro yet to actually get gains

Only thing I might delete fully is the idle air assist valve. You do not want to remove pcv hose from valve cover to your intake. It is responsible for a few important things. My car was running kind of crappy
