Watching your prior videos spanning years back, had no idea it was in that bad of shape. That rust though on the lower rear quarter panel. I recently picked up a fully stock 2 owner 2006 FG2 SI with 117k in near mint condition, no rust at all (fully undercoated) and I'm in Ontario Canada (salt). Helps that the car lived majority of it's life in British Columbia (no salt) and brought here in 2021. All the best bro, will miss Midnight 😢

You and me are pretty much in the same boat, our 8ths have been with us for a while and are showing signs of age. Mine is also rusting to shit too but its part of living in the midwest due to salt etc. Gonna drive mine till it dies then one day buy another one down the road.

One big issue for cars rusting quickly is parking them over dirt or grass. Concrete and asphalt doesn’t hold the moisture that grass or dirty does.

Good bye midnight. I got my car around the same time as midnight. This car also affected me. I’m also now k24 swap on my 8th gen. All good thing must come to an end. But hopefully we get to see the other 8th gen on this channel. Thanks gerb!

Unfortunate for that to happen. I actually started watching your videos back in 2016-2017, because I had an FG2 back at that time. In 2018 I gave it to my brother and bought my a 370z, then in 2020 I traded that in for an evo x. I still have the evo now of course. Through out the entire 8 years even after I gave my Si away, I was still watching your videos lol Best of luck and I’ll continue to watch your future videos when you get a new ride, Honda or not.

I have a 2007 honda civic si fa5 sedan silver i put 2500 down and a loan for 8,900I 8 yrs later still looks the same paided alot for it it now has high mileage but the care of it maintenance i dont beat on it i once wanted to give it up to the junkyard and they said they give me 400 i was like the bugging Ii mite as well keep my car i say put an other k24 if head good put another block keep wrench ✌️✌️😎😎

im actually sad about it man i cant lie... my 8th gen is looking just as rough after 9 years of ownership :( the rust is unreal. I wish I wanted to fix it rather than just let her be. If anything, a clean 8th gen from down south some where will definitely be my next buy. I absolutely love my 8th gen it just looks terrible.
