Making My Own Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Manual for PS5

So, you know how new games these days don’t come with manuals anymore? I kinda miss that. There was something special about flipping through a manual, getting a sneak peek into the game world before diving in. It got me thinking, especially with how much I love Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, why not make my own manual for it? And that’s exactly what I did for the PS5 version of the game.
In this video, I’m taking you through creating this fan-made manual. I used Affinity Publisher to put everything together, and honestly, it was a blast. It’s like mixing the old-school vibe with some modern design tricks I’ve picked up.

That's amazing. It looks really nice and professional when you flick through the manual. It always seemed to me like game packaging was incomplete with an empty space where the manual should be, and now you made the game "whole".

I almost did something similar for Remake, I didn't finish the project though. Still sits half-finished on my harddrive. For that manual I was looking at the original and actually trying to format it in a way that was similar to the original games manual. Been thinking about going back to it now that I have the game on PC and I can get more specific screen-captures of stuff.

I was going to do the same thing, but after looking at that manual, I realized it was way too 90s. Don't get me wrong; it looks amazing. But I decided to do something a little more modern. But what's great about the community we all do the same thing in different ways. If you do finish it I would love to see it.
