Making my Sailor Moon Eternal Cosplay part 1 by jaRoukaSama feat. Seibah-chan

This is an old costume that has been in storage since 2011? or 2012?
I had it made by a local seamstress. I am finally finishing this costume as now I feel that I have enough cosplay experience to make one heck of a sailor moon eternal cosplay.
In this video, I will share tips and thoughts on how I made the bits and pieces of this cosplay.
Do keep note that this is only part 1, and that the costume is still NOT YET FINISHED.
I love sailor moon so much, her eternal form is just my favorite.
I do want to have the 90s version eternal moon article and eternal tiare, bust sadly, those are still outside of my budget. So, we have a costume that is a mash up of the 90s version and the cosmos version.
My cosplay/ costume showcase videos don't really have lots of view but I like making them coz I feel like a lot of the cosplays you see online are already the end product of the artist's efforts. There's not a lot of the behind the scenes or the thoughts of the cosplayers, or the whys and hows. (at least I don't see a lot of those, LOL)
So, I am also making these videos to show the newbies especially, that amazing cosplays don't just happen in a snap, hopefully thru this they can see that with effort, anything is possible!
And I wanted to make more of these especially for cosplays that I worked hard on and have a lot of sentimental value to me, kind of like a cosplay video diary. Does that make sense?

How did you make the sleeves for Sailor Moon Eternal because you didn't show them.

This costume was made way back when i didnt have a g0od camera and didnt think i would be making videos. Im planning to discuss the sleeves in part 2. I am still n0t d0ne so i haven't posted it yet. Anyway. The sleeves are made from plastic toy balls. There are holes cut up for my shoulders and arms. Then it was covered in pink stretch fabric using contact cement. Lastly, the details were hand sewn 0n. It is also hand sewn to the white bodysuit. Hope that helps!
