I love the difference with the J pipe! I'm glad you love it! Having that deeper sound, plus the drivability... so much better! Get an E-tune for now if you're planning on doing more mods. So you don't have to drop 600 a turn. If you're done with nodding then get the protune and you'll be set. I just went BRZ manifold and FMIC so getting a tune next month!!! Have fun with the WRX!

I just kept collecting the parts until I had everything and then did it all at once lol. Didn’t get to feel different power levels since I went from stock to straight to basically full bolt on stage 3 with flex. My next plans is to go with better headers, bigger intake manifolds, bigger turbo, built internals, hpfp, and some more possibly lol

@Miguel sanchez I got one of the last Cobb downpipes before they removed them from their site. So I just ran the Cobb Stage 2+ downpipe for a few weeks. Now I'm protuned. Getting a proper tune is definitely the way to go. The car runs great!

remove the striped nut and stud from the turbo side, and replace it with a bolt, that is what we do in auto shop all the time only if there is no Original Replacement stud and nuts available.

Surprised you didn’t spray the bolts with some PB blaster. No matter what year wrx/sti the downpipe to turbo studs/bolts are the worst to take off. I spent 4 days battling mine when trying to replace my turbo. The wide mouth downpipe didn’t allow me to fit a socket over the nut so I had to try and use a wrench but could only turn it like 1/100th at a time lol.
