The HKS BOV is probably my favorite mod I've done on my car to date. I know a lot of people don't like the sound, but it just makes my inner child happy and reminds me of the old NFS days. It's just one of those things you have to do at least once in your life if you have a turbo car.

The design of the Grimmspeed downpipe is to reduce turbulence in the exhaust when the wastegate opens. What you described as a paper filter is a check valve designed to only allow air to flow in one direction.

I will recommend just going speed density. It will make your car happier 🤝 running the BOV will be okay for now but in the long run? No bueno. Also on the dp, on port is directed for the turbo and the 2nd one for your internal waste gate.

Key fob trick is standard on all cars that are push to start, the battery is to boost the range I believe . That’s why sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t (since you were close it worked) this exhaust is honestly gas af blowoff valve was super needed. The way you fell in love all over again is something I need to recreate for myself. Great video🫡

For me I think this is the perfect amount of music and talking. I also like car install videos but sometimes it gets repetitive like the exhaust install. Maybe do a project car switch it up rebuild an older car something that is cheaper since you currently have 3 cars that are pretty expensive especially with all the mods you do.

I'd like to see a video of you pulling the motor, install the Sikky STI conversion and mount kit and then put in a fully built LS with an LS Next fully Forged block with 250cc heads, 103mm Katech throttle body ? FAST biller high flow fuel rails and FIC 1760cc Injectors, Callie forged crank, Wisconsin Boostline ConRods with CP Carillo 9:1CR Pistons, LG Motorsports LG Pro Longtube racing headers into a custom X-pipe with Test Pipes and have the X-pipe dump out into 2 67mm Precision Turbos Rear Mounted with dump pipes out the back as your exhaust system ... Driveshaft Shop custom 1-piece carbon fiber driveshaft (RWD only and get the kit for disabling FWD/AWD , Mantic 9000s dual cerametallic clutch, and then of course? Don't forget to put in s staging/drift hand brake and have all your engine mgmt done by Holley Terminator X or a MoTec ... it'll def "Sound how it should sound" after that and all the other STIs will wonder why it looks like they are standing still next to you on the road... Can't wait to see that video after your done sourcing out the $90/100k parts only list! 😊 ... should probably top it all off by settin her back down on the ground on a $15k+ set of HRE wheels (245s up front and 345s in the back since you can go to a nice staggered fitment once ya change her to RWD only and wrap those HREs in a nice set of Toyo Proxes R888 R's .. make sure to post plenty of pics n vids!
