Nice project!!!! I recommend you to build an aluminum heat shield for the induction kit so it doesn't suck in hot air and instead suck in cold air, then you will probably gain more power than before (I've done that to mine) Keep it up!

I just wrapped some flexible heat shield like zircoflex around mine above the exhaust has better insulation properties then aluminum. They also sell sheets so you could replace your aluminum one with it.

Nice to see a K11 being pepped up ! I had one some years ago and the bonnet is very heavy. I would suggest attempting to make a fiberglass one or something. That would be nice to watch too !

As long the battery familiar of cranking amp as recommend cranking amp. Relocating the battery to trunk that help with weight transfer also it space up more room engine bay so you can getting more suitable air intake position and it’s might better if it has heat shield

Nice video bro, loved it! I just want to give you an advice from my own experience. If you put grease in the dust cover, the centrifugal force will make it stick to the inside of the cover, and it may cause a little bit of imbalance on the axel, and it may worn the cover much faster. (sorry, my english may be a bit bad.)

You can buy nismo extended studs on the net and replace them on your new hubs, I've them on my k11

You can make a cold air intake from the fog light grille to the filter. And if you want some easy visual mods you can paint the chrome from inside the headlights black instead of chrome

Small cars are so much fun, i had an 2002 integra type R in the US, wanted something Americans dont get when i moved to France and bought a Swift Sport, SO fun in the french mountains. Even with a solid rear axle handles amazing. You can rent em on the Nurburgring so they must be good haha. P.S. you should relocate the battery to the trunk, would make for a great video and help with weight and weight transfer. Btw gears and gasoline did a few dyno runs with different intakes, the straighter the intake the more power it made, on a k20-k24 anyways.

I've got a similar issue with my megane gearbox not returning to neutral and I'm hoping it's also just a snapped spring as the rest of the box feels really good. Unfortunately my mechanical knowhow is lacking so need to find a garage to have a look.

Awesome video! You are giving me ideas for my own K11 1.3 that I've recently bought. Have you considered replacing the crankshaft pulley for the 1.0 (lighter)? Im still wondering if it fits... I'll keep and eye for your result of the lightened flywheel, I wonder if its any harder to manage the clutch bitting point using it in a daily driving car.

Thank you! I'm actually looking for a used pulley from a 1.0 facelift, but nothing for sale right now... No, the 1.0 flywheel isn't that much lighter, so it won't affect the behaviour to much. It will become a little bit more rev happy and hopefully a little bit quicker. 👍

Hej! Great job! I really like your videos. At 23:20 you'd probably made a mistake when you used aluminium for adapters on battery, because aluminium and copper creates a galvanic pair which is very susceptible to galvanic corrosion.

Never yank out the halfshaft out like that! You can rip the inner boot then you pull apart the inner joint and the needle bearings fall out and you fucked. I learned the hard way.... Love the project non the less!

i have a K11 4 door as my daily and really want to enhance it BUT here in Australia they are very rare and almost zero parts on shelf ,my question to anybody is that its sometimes diifcult to go from second gear to third gear ,the clutch engages about 2/5 off the floor and feels a lil stiff,a mechanic said its because its cable operated and just to stop whinning and get used to it or maybe buy a better car ,can i fix it or just deal with it ,thankyou for any help

In the last video you made I asked about the wheels how much you drilled, this is why. I also ordered new hubs, didn’t have studs long enough on them, my original studs are also not long enough, front or back, I ordered extended studs for 200sx and for Subaru both were mentioned online they’d fit, didn’t fit mine nor the new hubs I got, What model year and model exactly is yours ?

Mine is a year model 2000 1.4 no ABS. I didn't remove much material at all around the holes on the rim. Maybe 2-3 mm max. Perhaps the studs on my Micra are longer from the factory? 🤔

@@ejoautovideos next time I go to the scrapyard looking for parts, I need to take a vernier and measure the length of the studs I have and what's available there. If I could ask you how much your studs stick out from the face of the hub? I don't imagine that the brake disk thickness is affecting the engagement. I have already spent close to 1000eur on restoring 6 of these wheels, 2 to have as spares, gold centres, diamond cut lips and fresh rubber, I really want to put them on already and find a way to do it, I hope you can help, really love how your micra sits on these wheels, looks so tidy!!

About the seal, for me, it feels bad when I'm not following my gut feeling. It's kind of the same feeling you get when taking a chance on buying a used item. You're not sure if it is okay or suspecting the seller to be dishonest but still proceeds with the purchase. Until you're sure everything is all right, there's this uncomfortable feeling about it.
