The Porsche is slowly becoming one of my favorite builds. As fun as track builds are, I’d love to see this car stay a street car. Maybe a modern Porsche engine swap so that it can be easily serviced at any dealer along with a full suspension rebuild.

Those lights are sick. Any nasty car build has to have nice headlights, change my mind. The Porsche deserves a better head unit than that Sony junk. It needs one of those Pioneer units with the OEL display that has dolphins, and cars in certain years. Just get the newest model year of the stereo for simplicity/relevance. It'd probably be hard to find a vintage unit anyway, but it'd be dope, and the newer one will likely have bluetooth, usb, etc. Reach out to the homie Smeedia up in Washington. He just got a sweet 996 recently, and he's a Subaru guru if you ever need one of those. Dude wants to do P Car things with other drivers now that he has one.

I think you should go GT4 for a year or two and trade up to a 991.2 GT3 when those are bottomed out. The best thing about Porsche is jumping back and forth from 911 and cayman imo.

The clear lights on the corner tail lights look like ebay special. I am used to them being orange I guess.

The problem with putting a fluted lens on there is that they were designed to sort of disperse the light from an incandescent bulb. They’re not efficient at handling an LED projector. That’s why your cutoff lines and such aren’t as good when you put the fluted lenses on, and why they won’t be as good in real world use as a result. You’re basically stuck with either a clear lens, a modified fluted with the center clear for the projector beam, or stick to H4s.
