Making Niro (Cashew juice)

We went to have a look at the process of preparing "Niro" the clear cashew drink.
It is collected after the crushing of the cashews by foot to obtain the raw cashew juice which is later distilled into "Urak" and again finally into "Cashew Feni".
"Niro" is collected by loading heavy stones onto the collected cashew pulp. The pit is washed with clean water to clear it of any cashew pulp and raw juice so that only the clear , tasty and extremely refreshing "Niro" drink is collected.
