Always nice to have plenty of tractors 👍😎 And of course, enough equipment to make things easier 👍 I'd love to get back to the point where we can get good oat hay put up!! Last time we did, the landowner wanted the crop off before her wedding. Stuff was beautiful!!! We couldn't double rake it. The windrows were almost too heavy for the big baler without being raked.

It's been too hot and dry the last few years for oats to do really good. I was pretty impressed with it this year though. Thanks for watching!

I can’t keep up with all your equipment, just when I think I’ve seen your whole lineup you bring out something different;) Don’t think I’ve seen that haybine before

Is there a certain way you can tell the oat hay is dry enough to bale? We’ve mostly combined it or chopped it.

Well, you need dry weather and do the touch test. I guess you could use a moisture probe. It's not to often that we make it into dry hay. Thanks for watching.
