The figures look beautiful in every way, they just need to be made with more care:/ nothing is more heartbreaking than finding an awesome rare Halo figure, and being so excited to open it, only to have it break on opening.

Hope to see more of these in the future, really interesting to see how articulation is added to the 3-D models!

I wish mcfarlane would have made their 12 inch line a little more bigger. With their newer 6 inch figures, with the joint figures, and overall better joints, it would have made them a lot cooler.

You could mess it up like the other guys. The odst helmet looked smaller than a head that would be on the body.

@REZBLUE22 A lot of this deals with constant referencing to make sure the proportioning stays the same, after the joints are added in. While some individuals think it's as easy as "Oh, hey, let's throw a joint here", engineering a figure's joint setup is incredibly difficult.

idk about everyone else but I'm always going to buy McFarlane's halo figures over mattel 6 inch figures for reasons, 1. scale 2. realism

It still puzzles me how MATTEL got the rights to Halo figures because you guys made them way fucking better. I was excited to get Halo figures when you guys were making them and now Mattel has them and they just look like shit. The only cool thing about them is that you can take the armor off.

yeah the halo figures they made do look good but ive had at least five figures break on me when i took them out the packaging, i had a halo 3 spartan scout figure and the hand joint snapped on both arms and the legs would not move im sorry but you're figures may look good but joyride studios did a much better job at halo figures than you guys have.

i dont get it. all of the footage was just highlighting and catagorizing premade assets with the odd hinge/pivot jint thrown in. i didnt see any modeling whatsoever with the lowpoly over highpoly giving n impression of such. speaking of which i have no idea if that high poly was the work of your modelers who extrapolated all that detail form the low poly game model or you were given everything from the highpoly masters to the lowpoly game models. if teh latter why did you guys get the game models which offer nothing of value ias you have the actual master models to work off of? and if former why the heck did you not show how your modeler folk extrapolate their own interpretation form the game assests??? that would have been aweosme and inspiring.
@oneplumpboi5317
@oneplumpboi5317 7 жыл бұрын
I know I'm a little late but from the game assets ripped from halo, they're extremely poor, most of these guys add into the sharp detail which was actually textures on the original model (The low poly, smooth model you saw there was it.) Although it would be cool to see them actually modify the model to be more detailed, we did not. But it's known as a fact that they did infact do all that detail work. Bungie just doesn't do extra work on a 3d model only to give it to a toy company. The only time they ever made high poly models and gave it to someone else was Halo 3 : ODST for legacy effects, who made the suits. After that Halo Reach, legacy effects used a game model and added their interpretation of the detail.
