Andy Rourke...What a bassist!!! Unbelievable. So under-credited compared to Moz or Marr, but as a bassist, literally the best bassist of all time. Barbarism, Rusholme Ruffians, Shakespeare's Sister...all sensational basslines.

It's just incredible to watch them perform in the studio. I'm especially impressed with Johnny Marr's guitar playing. What virtuosity!! They definitely were THE perfect band.

the most interesting thing about the band is that rourke actually is the shy sensitive introvert, for Moz its all an act as he hogs the camera and dances around singing about his shyness.

No, it may appear that way in the press because unlike here in this clip, you're not getting the whole interview, you are getting one line in response to a certain question not the whole response. Do you think Morrissey as stubborn as he his and a person who so strongly stands by his convictions would turn around after years of representing the underdog, the working class, people without a voice, suddenly turn against them? He has said not to trust the media, it's common knowledge that they lie and are biased. If you take the time to read full interviews with him you'll find that he is not the way he his being presented as. He is still very informed and rational. And still believes what he says here.
