I'm friends with Ann-Margret, and know her films quite well... in fact, this film was written by her husband, Roger Smith. The premiere date for "CC" was October 14, 1970, in New York City. The actual filming of "CC & Company" began on April 13, 1970. However, the time period in "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood" was from February, 1969 through August 9, 1969... more than a year before the film was released to the public.

Nonetheless, the QT spared very little and essentially got every period detail exact. And not surprisingly, the finished movie is quite spectacular.

This is the reality of film making folks. Standing around for hours & when you finally film it's over in seconds. "hurry up or wait" is the film industry's moto. An average of 4 directions of shots per scene & an average of 3 to 4 takes per shot for the Director & Editor to mull over in the editing room. Frequent late night shoots. 11 pm to 5 am, then the city wants their street back so it doesn't effect the morning commute.
