This movie was made SO LONG before Sin City, 300, and the countless other comic book movies made that had a hard edge underground comic book style, I think it is often overlooked as a real original and stylized landmark in cinema. And DAMN what a tragedy that this man did not get to keep making more movies and live a longer life. He could have been Johnny Depp big I feel. Every time I watch The Crow I get this deeply sad feeling of what could have been for Brandon Lee.

he passed away in the same year as my dad (my dad was 29 when he passed away, my mom was brandon's age when brandon passed away, i just lost my mom in january this year 2024 at the age of 58, she loved that movie and edgar allen poe, she also loved that poem the raven. my heart breaks for them everyday now.
