Hans Zimmer is a walking legend in the music world and I had the honour of meeting him in person and he's such a wonderful soul and gentleman. The resolve he has for making his music is beyond wondrous and The Lion King (TLK) soundtrack is magnificent because he gave it life through the understanding of the concepts and character of the movie itself. I pray that the upcoming live version of TLK has its score done by the man himself...because I can honestly see nobody better suited for the job...the latest trailer's music itself brought me to tears of appreciation and I can't wait to see the new TLK. Thank you Sir Hans Zimmer for creating musical magic.

Jim Cummings has the coolest role in The Lion King: He either laughs maniacally as Ed or sings menacingly as Scar (the “Be Prepared” sequence). Jeremy Irons’ vocal cords needed a break

I commented on the other parts. I had this show recorded. I'm surprised KZbin don't have my copy. It interviewed jeremy irons who did scar. Talked about Mathew Broderick, whoopi Goldberg, cheech Marin. Even showed James earl Jones, voices of timon & pumbaa. They even showed young & old simba voice actors.

Am I the only one that finds it ironic that Disney was against hunting, and was a "animal activist", but when he built his theme park he destroyed millions of acres of forest. And was even called out when one of his "documentary" films was actually revealed to have pushed thousands of lemmings off of a cliff.
