I remember seeing all the negative reviews on this game, but I played it anyway. I actually really enjoyed it a lot. I stopped listening to a lot of reviewers after. Especially the ones that review games and talk about how "they" think it should be instead of seeing it for how the developers made it.

It blows my mind till this day. If you watched the trailers, gamescom, e3, dev diaries, or just those alone instead of all together, you can clearly see the devs articulating down to the T on how this game was going to playout for gamers. A heavy story driven game with a strong narrative and cinematic gameplay. That means exactly what it means, its like buying uncharted or tlou and bitching at it for the same reasons. Granted those games are better imo but this is a fair 7 while those games (besides uc1) are easy 9's. The Order took concepts like Until Dawn and mixed it with Uncharted with Gears cover mechanics to create something new. When you play this game its like diving into a unique world, which is exactly what single player games used to do, and are what single player games are severely lacking in todays generation. Its lame. I think with a 40 dollar price tag coming out today would benefit the game better. You can clealry tell people went into this game expecting shit that was never promised, and didnt even realize they were asking for fillers "wHeReS tHe Co-Op WhErEs ThE oPeN wOrLd I wAnT sIdE oBjEcTiVeS" looking back peoples complaints are more lame than ever because they were asking for the same shit that they despise now, which is cash grab games and fillers (look at the star wars game rotfl) they helped burry what made games great and we all had to pay for it. Now they cry the loudest. Fucking lame. This game aged like fine wine. Gonna play it again on its decade anniversary. I only wish i had the gamestop code for the Khaki uniform, i have the black and red but missing the Khaki uniform

This was such a great game. Criminally underrated. It was slammed for being so short and now games are getting shorter, cuz most people don’t have 20 hours to put into a game. This game is an experience, like Journey. I wish they had the ability to skip cutscenes, and had longer fighting gameplay. It has a very movie style length to fighting. Very interesting experiment in game making. Just played it today. I wish they sold the Desert Khaki costume as DLC. Sad.

This game should be patched on the PS5 and be available for free for PS+ subscribers so more people get to experience it. Criminally underrated for a narrative-based game.

If you have the disk version and (you should back up all your data usb or cloud before doing this) factory reset your ps5 and do not sign in, just boot up and pop in the disk with no internet connection. This will allow you to play the game at 1440p and 60fps locked. There was a code for this game for the devs to add the pc version in the future but sony canned remedy and they do not get along anymore unfortunately. I would rather get this game a sequel than to see sony pump out another tlou remake smh

The game is good, but it has a problem which is when the game starts the real action it ends. If I'm not mistaken, the studio closed its doors, right?
