Brian, this score is one of my favorites, because of how you did connect the multiple characters to different themes, that still feel close. Th e solo soprano vocalist adds a strong human element as well, and it made me realize this was a different kind of superhero film. Well done, sir!

I know you are awesome and all, but why completely forgo the brilliant work built by Patrick Doyle? At least Mark Mothersbaugh combined Doyle's music, Yours and his new One. The themes changing throughout the trilogies has been one of the biggest problems with the MCU.

I wholeheartedly agree. I actually love Brian Tyler's Thor theme as much as Patrick Doyle's, but it's hard to give these characters a sonic identity when there's no common thread. Interestingly, the final Avengers Endgame trailer (the one with all the character themes) forgoes Tyler's Thor theme in favor of Doyle's, but uses Tyler's Iron Man theme (from Iron Man Three) instead of Ramin Djawadi's original, making it all feel a bit random.

Brian theme of Thor the Dark World is among your masterpiece. I have listened it many times on YT. You have so beautiful bring out the core of darkness including mischeif, rage, villainy and Pride in this composition. I often times listened to it while feeling depressed on things and plan not executed during my life and it gives me hope and energy to strive on and pursue my goals objectively till last breath. Hi. I use Notion 6 for all my songs and videos. It's very easy to use, the customer support is very helpful and all the sounds are sampled from the London Symphony Orchestra, who are featured in this video. Honestly, it doesn't matter. I didn't have a DAW or a software. I still don't. I did my first short film making sounds with my mouth and an acoustic guitar which is the only instrument i have. You don't need a huge expensive DAW to do this kind of music. It just helps

I like the first Thor's soundtrack "Thor Kills the Destroyer" by Patrick Doyle, but Bryan Tyler's Thor: The Dark World score seems more majestic, as it is reflected in the film by asgard having more screen time than the first.
