Fantastic interview! Mitesh is one of the finest DOPs I have worked with. One of the best in the country. And, he is so right. There are no lights near you when you are acting. Every other DOP has lights and thermocols within a feet of your face which is so restrictive for an actor.

Visual style of the film reminded me of Secario. Roger deakins is genius. Especially the silhouettes on explosive background. Birds eye view shots and the way night scenes are shot. I am glad to see a Hindi film achieved that level of aesthetic.👍👍

Being able to relate a specific colour grade or temperature etc with a specific look and feel (emotion) and executing it while shooting is a very difficult thing. It only comes through practice. This cinematographer knows his craft very well. The point he mentioned about not spending too much time in post processing stage is very interesting and quite true. Throughly enjoyed this interview. Please do more such interviews. Invite the action choreographer, location scout, props department people etc from this movie. Everyone did a great job.

I kind of like Mitesh.. He looks educated and literate enough to read books and newspapers ...and hopefully he has a thinking mind.. But the sad part is that he was part of a propaganda piece where they portrayed stuff that may or may not have happened IRL.. If I would have been him..
