Making our own animal feed at a FRACTION of the cost! Recipe Included!

Have you ever seen Aspen regeneration?
Holy. Crap.
I feel like I can solve two problems here, so I did!
Since we had our property select cut a few years ago we've been drowning in Aspen regeneration. Well, it turns out Aspen is nutritionally complete, very bioavailable and has a decent CP% if you harvest it at the right time!
Our feed utilizes Muka, also known as Tree Silage and the process turns wild-grown Aspen/popple into easily-digestible, palatable and nutritionally complete silage. This Muka is mixed with a couple of other ingredients to produce one of the best animal feeds you can get. And it's palatable to rumens, fowl and swine!
Finally we run the mix through a pellet mill and this presses it into a satisfactory crumble. We would have to dry the mix more to achieve a true pellet but it's honestly not necessary.
Now this mix is a bit heavy on the grains and YES, we used soy meal! Until we are able to raise our own insects we needed a high-protein additive to bump the CP% and make this a "finish blend".
