Is this Maruchan or Nissen. I looooove the huge ones from the dollar store called souper meal. For real, for five dollars if you're desperate because a new game is coming out or you need to pay car insurance...just go to a dollar tree pick up a loaf of bread, a half carton of eggs and a pack of baloney and two souper meals...you have at least 3 days of food. Really helped me out when I was in my early twenties

OMG! I just went to the Yokohama Cup Noodle Museum yesterday! Did you guys enrol to take the chicken ramen class? You get to make your own instant noodles from the kneading to the rolling and watching it get fried and packaged! Best experience! 😃

hello! just a curious question for anyone who may have the answer. I'm planning a trip to Japan soon. For someone who doesn't speak Japanese is it pretty easy to get around in Japan as for transportation and communicating with shop owners? I'll be staying in and around the Tokyo area.

If you're just going to be in the Tokyo area, it's very easy to get around - Narita airport, the various train stations, and many shops have English signage! The staff at the airport and desk clerks at the train stations usually speak some English too. Communicating with shop owners can be hit and miss, but many places we went to have English signs and menus - and if the staff doesn't speak English, they'll just use gesture to communicate :) Hope this helps!

What flavor is the chicken symbol...is it chicken ? I know one ramen brand had a tiny egg back in the day, as the flavor packet. My favorite has to be oriental, creamy chicken or chili lime.

I freaking love glaze donut, Hostess Donettes Powdered Mini Donuts and Hostess Donettes Frosted Mini Donuts when it comes to donuts in general. I’m not into all that sweet out there crazy donuts. I’m not a sweet tooth person at all. I few eat bits is a enough. I mean can have once in long awhile sweet tooth. I’m more of a savory person they just taste so much better and it doesn’t hurt stomach like sweet tooth things.

It was! It was pretty cheap - think it was 500 yen (a little under 5 dollars) for admission and 300 yen per Cup Noodle cup :D
