As fall is creeping in, I’m working to finish up the last of my projects. One that’s been on the list for quite some time is updating our paddock fencing inside our permanent pasture with new insulated line posts and turbo wire from @GallagherAnimalManagement that’s more effective and durable than our old set up of step in posts and farm store grade poly wire.
More on the set up concept 👉 I’m always looking for ways to be more efficient with my time, while not sacrificing the purpose and benefits of rotational grazing.
Having a semi-temp fence that runs the center of our pasture has helped us more easily move our goats and sheep with our intensive grazing system of 1-3 days by keeping the "act of fencing" to a minimum.
