I really enjoyed this interview. I have been seeing a doctor who was recommended to me by friends-two of which are nurses. After looking through my statistics, his first question was about my life-style and diet! I told him I was doing carnivore and he knew exactly what I was doing. I’m not sure there is anyone practicing in my city who is so well rounded. In fact, his practice has grown to the point that it can take up to a year to see him. Unfortunate, but he has a great group of nurses and PA’s. Thank you, Dr. Baker.

I just go back to the fact that when my Mom started nursing in the 50's, 3 minute eggs were the standard diet! My mom as a nursing student made tons of 3 minute eggs. By the time she went back to nursing in the 80's ...eggs were gone!

Thanks Dr. B! That's much more positive on MAHA. I realize we need to be realistic about political change and politicians' promises, but we also need to channel this growing movement - it's a balancing act between hope and realism. And I may have misunderstood some of your previous comments on this. Keep up the great work! I've been recommending revero to everyone I meet - who needs diet or lifestyle help. I always tell them I'm not a doctor, that what I say is not medical advice. And to get a doctor's help - but get a second opinion from a physician at revero if a person's normal doc says "what? that'll kill you!!" or crap like that. I know people in Houston. I'll try to get this doctor more patients!! He's awesome.

How do you get past being pissed off at people that want to continue living a unhealthy lifestyle while wanting you to do the same?

I'm carnivore, my wife is not. I don't try changing her point of view. We both respect each others right to their opinions. I am thinking that with time she will observe the benefits that have come my way and perhaps get a little curious. Attempting to change peoples minds about health, politics, and faith is a losing proposition. Lead by example.

Working hard to promote Revero diet/lifestyle changes in my practice and finally got to deprescribe a BP med the other day and was so happy I immediately wanted to tell Elie all about it! So much amazing literature on LCHF/Ketogentic/Carnivore diets lately, future looking bright. BZ

You guys are off to a great start, but you really need to transition into primary care practice for people. People like me who are done with conventional medicine are looking for primary care physicians that we can go to for whatever we need a doctor for. We want functional medicine And doctors who are trying to get us off of medications rather than addict us to medications.

Y'all are documenting pre and post treatment outcomes. Comparison of patients who respond vs those who don't, is powerful data. Pre and post blood test results are powerful data. Sure the test group has bias, but it's still powerful data.

I am a chiropractor in Illinois and been coaching carnivore for 3 years. I have been carnivore for over 2 years now. Question for Shawn on other trainings for myself, you or your clinics? Also other networking other than online?

41:59 that’s brutal. When you sit down and think about it, we as ordinary people, really need to be clear in life to follow a good path for ourselves. Food is the first step I reckon.

Does carnivore damage kidneys?

Carnivore reverses CKD
@thelaststylebender16783 күн бұрын
No. It’s the sugar from the high carb unnatural diet that damages the kidneys. They’ve been RCTs showing that a low carb diet actually halts progression of kidney disease. The myth that protein damages kidneys has never been corroborated in controlled trials. It’s just not true.

Massive heart attack 3 years ago. Died 5 times, had complete kidney failure and was told probably need dialysis rest of life. Discharged after 6 weeks. Immediately went back to my carnivore diet. Been getting better ever since. Had another echocardiogram 2 days ago. My EF went from a 24 to a 39. Still not great but hell of a lot better than 24. I feel good and even back to work as a carpenter. Oh and I’m 76 years old.

@@tedchapple5991 wow. What an experience that heart attack must have been. Yes, I believe carnivore is the best diet for every situation. Good for you for staying strong mentally and I hope your heart continues to heal/ improve.
