Just seven years ago, Emily had debilitating bipolar disorder. She had no hope thinking she was worthless and useless. Then things got worse. She was hospitalized and diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Intuitively, Emily turned to a carnivore diet to rid herself of autoimmune disease. She resolved multiple sclerosis within the next few months, got off all psyche meds, and lost 120 pounds. Now, as a trained therapist, she shows others how they can escape the mental health pit of hell.

My son had JIA (juvenile idiopathic arthritis). The pediatric rheumatologist said it was nothing we could do and he would be on immune suppression drugs for life. Well well, that's when my holistic adventure started. With some testing we discovered some metal toxicity and nutrient deficiencies. With a whole food diet, supplements, his 4 year battle ended. The medical staff was blown away. He has been inflammation free for 6 years now. You need to take control of your health or the specialist will keep you on a lifetime of drugs

I also have MS and feel so much more better after being on PhD (Proper Human Diet) for four years now. Ketone is far superior than glucose for fuel. I was getting MS Flare Ups every couple of years, sending me to the ER for massive quantities of corticosteroids : ( Looking back, I ate a load of carbs before a flare up occurred. Hagen Daz, pastries and bread etc... and the SAD diet. My MS/Neuro doctor had also gaslighted me as well because I did not want to take his toxic drugs that gave me anaphylaxis.

Love all of these individual stories you do on these real people. Sure there are no long term RCT’s on the carnivore diet but you have dozens of stories of people like this who cure everything that ails them. When you delve into the comments in hundreds of videos, you discover that these are not just n=1 anecdotes. There are tens of thousands of people curing seemingly impossible metabolic diseases. Thank you for the interview. When i got Lyme disease I also became insatiable for carbs. I started eating things that I never even liked before. After over 50 years of not eating many high carb things. Sure I liked sugar in my tea, chocolate and pies but I always disliked birthday cake as a child. Seldom ate icecream and only ate chips to have the dip. After lyme I could not get enogh carbs and the higher the carbs the better. Sometimes it is more than the food but our microbiome. The parasites that live in us and use our food. It is not only about how the food is designed to be addictive but what microbes that have been introduced into that environment.

you can add back foods after healing only up to a certain age. There comes a point when the damage done and the ability to cope with that damage is so much more catastrophic than in younger folk that any insult is no longer tenable. The change is in order of magnitude, not a linier decline. no one can guess where those lines are. caution suggests that over sixty's should not make that gamble. instead enjoy the health gained.

I have definitely noted my ability to digest foods and how much I can eat has changed as I have aged, so I focus on high nutrition foods - which are animal foods. You have to eat a lot of plant matter to get enough nutrients but then I feel full and uncomfortable and don't deal well with many grains I used to be able to eat. Oats for example - I now have cottage cheese and eggs (three egg whites and two egg yolks).

The carnivore diet satiates minerals and fats that are building blocks for repair. We are told to beware of copper toxicity for example but in reality most people are deficient , fluoride stripping it out further in water and some medications along with plant based anti- nutrients . Fatty ruminant meat provides bioavailable copper along with a whole host of minerals that the body can use for repairing itself over time.

I’ve had some great improvements, off diabetes drugs, off thyroid medication, lost 40 pounds( disappointed it’s not more) and arthritis is less painful but not gone. I’m going to tighten up and go ‘beef only’ as I feel and look best when I only eat steak and hamburger. This was a great video. Thanks so much for this one in particular! I had suffered so much pain all the time for years and this diet has helped that so much.

I don’t know where you live, but here in NW we have Fred Myers’s where I get really nice rib-eyes and $1.45/lb beef fat trimmings. You’re going to be surprised how you can take advantage of stupidity of those who want there meats lean… 😆😆

Dr. Baker, you are amazing and ask just the right questions! Now I‘ve got one for you: Can we talk about children and their health issues, their possibly „false“ diagnosis, their idiot doctors and naive parents (or just also sick parents)? I see so many young families with children who are obviously sick, maybe even under meds and/or malnutrition (vegan/ vegetarian). I‘m 100% sure keto, ketovore and/or carnivore would help them, even totally heal them. They may not even be sick at all, just filled up with sugar, carbs and other toxic foods and meds. Thank you for considering this topic 🙏

I hear you. And I appreciated that later in this interview Dr Baker mentioned that himself that some people need something more and Emily agreed and even gave an example where she too needed something more and found a couple of other helpful things. Nice to see they are real about things and not pushing a one size fits all miracle panacea mentality. The discussion and approach to health and wellness appears to reflect genuine awareness that each person is individual in their needs and responses. ❤

Day 29. So not a long time. Down to 83.9 kilos from 88. I’m still irritated it’s taken 29 days. But this impatience is abating, as is carb desire, especially alcohol. For some reason, I only dream of drinking very intermittently. I was Keto for a while and it worked but decided on carnivore which has led to no digestive issues, maybe a bit of loose stools.

I’m between keto and carnivore. I’m not full on carnivore because I cook steak with garlic and eat avocado once or twice a week. Other than that, only beef, egg, chicken, pork and fish.

@@cornypinkuni9519 I did bloodwork before and after. - fasting glucose is 83 down from 101 - hba1c 5.2 down from 5.7 (will go down more because I'm only 2month in and hba1c is 3 month average.) - my LDL is a bit elevated, but is to be expected with the diet. - my triglycerides is still high from before the diet, but I'll do the test again in 2 weeks to see if anything changes. I was able to lift a bit heavier, but I'm not energetic as when I eat carb. This is the reason why I added avocado and very small portion of fruit to my diet but still stay under 20g carb daily. I sleep a lot better. I can sleep 8 hours straight. My body alerts me to go to bed at 9 every night and as soon as my back hit the bed, I'm knocked out cold. Last time I slept this good was in my college years. I also lost 15lb. I'm 5'8" and I went from 170 to 155 while retaining my muscle.

We live in desperate days, so desperate measures are needed, but once healing occurs because of eating the carnivore way, it no longer seems desperate or unbalanced or crazy rather its seems logical, sane and the best healing option. Praying i can continue without being influenced both those around me and by my weakness for the sweet. Carnivore began to work for me at the start until i added a treat. So, it seems it's essential to be disciplined

Watch interviews of Dr Zsofia Clemens, she's with the Paleo Medicina group in Hungary. In their clinical experience the key to putting autoimmune disorders into remission is fully sealing the gut via a clean carnivore diet as verified by a urine test. When patients cheat their symptoms return and the urine tests reflect leaky gut issues have returned. Our gut is estimated to represent 70 percent of our immune system. B vitamins certainly help with recovery and restoring myelination.

I have those thoughts and curiosities too. I imagine it could be a factor but I also found there might be more than one factor as she mentioned it wasnt enough to just eat meat and she felt best on higher fat meats (lower fat meats have high b vitamins also).

Sourdough pizza is so much better for you if you do ever have it! My family is animal based, and I’m carnivore. Once in a while, I make them sourdough pizza .. If you’ve never eaten a SAD diet and have never been jabbed, you would be able to eat sourdough pizza without ill effects! Look at some very healthy Amish people who do this. My father is also very healthy and grew up on a farm, with no processed foods.. they ate sourdough bread. I was jabbed as a school aged child, which caused my autoimmunity. I don’t think carnivore is for everyone, but a lot of people would benefit from it. We also make homemade ice cream with raw cream and eggs, vanilla, maple syrup, etc. No processed foods.
