Making Peppermint Hills Cold Process Essential Oil Landscape Soap for Christmas

When I think of peppermint, the first colors that pop into my mind are red and blue. This fragrance is definitely a classic staple as far as holiday collections go! And why not make a landscape of a chilly, snowy day with it?
While this design is on the simpler side with only 3 layers, the shadow in between the 2 hills adds just enough dimension to bring the scene to life. My 6 year old loved it so much that she drew the soap for me and I shared it as a sneak peek in my Instagram stories. I used pure peppermint essential oil as 70% of the fragrance and sweetened it a tad with a sugar fragrance oil at 30%. It smells delightful!

It was an old soap that had been curing for a very long time (probably a year or 2), and when I shredded it it basically crumbled into bits.
